The FIA has announced the provisional Calendar for 2014. Notable changes are the Korean GP moving to an earlier date, the addition of Sochi, Russia and since New Jersey is out, Mexico seems to be in.
This can only mean one thing, Pirelli Mexican hats at the podium! That is, if Pirelli keeps its tire supplier contract (which is very likely).

They still have to make a trip to the east again, in the later half of the year. And they cry about costs. Idiots.

I never understood their logistics either, but I guess its also for a break for the team personnel as well. If not they would be about 5 months away from home. Sure high paid staff and drivers can afford to head somewhere else between racing weekends but there are also a lot more people on the team. Plus most teams would cringe at the thought of not being able to update their cars with ease (most updates happen during the European tour of the calendar). Though that sounds as a cost effective way to reduce some cost.
